David Dull of Allis Roller Wins Excellence in Leadership Award
Franklin, WI (November 1, 2018) – David Dull, president and CEO of machined parts manufacturer, Allis Roller, and president of the Franklin Business Park Consortium (FBPC), has won the Excellence in Leadership award as part of the Franklin Business Appreciation Awards for his achievements in business and contribution to the local community.
Richard Simonson, COO of Carma Labs and Tom Schulz, VP Head of Manufacturing for Krones, were also nominated for the Excellence in Leadership Award alongside David Dull. Krones was nominated for Excellence in Innovation. Carma Labs and Krones are also members of the Franklin Business Park Consortium.
Commissioner Steve Bobowski presented the award to David Dull, saying:
“After spending time with David, the word I chose to describe him is: Servanthood. To get ahead, put others first…The true leader serves. Serves people. Serves their best interests, and in so doing will not always be popular, and may not always impress. But because true leaders are motivated by loving concern rather than a desire for personal glory, they are willing to pay the price.”
The annual Franklin Business Appreciation Awards include distinctions in leadership, innovation, and large and small business excellence. In order to qualify, area businesses and their executive leadership must demonstrate specific qualities, such as a commitment to good business practice, a history of good employee relations and benefits, a customer focused commitment, financial growth and consistency, community service involvement, as well as education partnerships and workforce development initiatives.
