Prior to the DASH Medical we know today, The Sullivanfamily formerly had proprietorship of Sullivan Dental Products Inc. However, in 1988, concerns rose involving bloodborne pathogens. Guidelines actively were put in place by OSHA stating latex gloves must be born within dental establishments enforcing protection between a hygienist and the patient, to decrease exposure to HIV infection. With the company having preexisted dental product industry experience and recognizing the heightened demand for latex gloves across several fields, the Sullivan family sold Sullivan Dental Products Inc, and shifted their focus on the new glove company. DASH has been a member of Franklin Business Park since 1993, and due to company expansion, moved into the current distribution center in 2011. As of now, the DASH team consist of 35 members that work collaboratively as a unit, as well as carrying individual responsibilities to work on specialized areasindependently. The team of employees work together cohesively to meet short- and long-term goals, one being to maintain a consistent customer base seen pre-covid.
